My First Blog Post

When I retired I had several goals I wanted to achieve. The first was to continue traveling, the second was to learn Photoshop, third and final was to develop a blog. The first two goals were fairly easy to accomplish, although, with Photoshop, it is continual learning. Even though I set up the website for the blog a couple of years ago, it remained dormant until now.

So Why Now?

I wanted a method to share our travel experiences with many friends and family. Since not everyone uses the same social media sites, I needed a place to communicate with everyone and not try to duplicate the photos and stories on multiple sites. Blogging provides the perfect avenue to reach a larger audience. Hopefully, someone will read it and decide to travel. I find traveling opens up new horizons creating a better understanding of other cultures and people. Our Earth has so many beautiful places and sites to see. Fortunately, my husband and I have that in common.

Additionally, my son who is also my tech support is traveling with us on this voyage. He and my daughter-in-law are just a few cabins away. Yeah!!
